thanks for your patience ALL - hrOTS is now calculated from your heart rate data when no power data is present. For example, you wear a heart rate monitor and ride a bike without a powermeter (but record heart rate data)

Training Peaks and Power

I'd love if you could integrate with Training Peaks and pull in the heart rate TSS when power data's not available in order to provide an OTS score. I have power meters on two bikes, but we've had a very wet winter and don't have a power meter on my rain bike (I know, first world problem).

I am training for a marathon alongside my cycling plan. Can you add OTS calculations for non-cycling exercises?

Add HR OTS

Currently a workout performed without a power meter generates zero OTS, even if a HRM was used.

Yes, FasCat, please expedite the HR OTS capability. Thanks!
Frank Overton
Yes! We are developing hrOTS so you can get a OTS from non power-metered bikes, even cross training! https://optimize-by-fascat.canny.io/feature-requests/p/add-hr-ots

Sead Duranovic I accidentally deleted your feature request about hr OTS here , sorry!
hrOTS is super important for us to bring to you all because it enable you to quantify your training when you don't record a ride with powermeter. AND hrOTS opens up our technology to runners & multisport athletes

This is also essential for bikes that don't have power meters. I don't have a power meter on my cx bikes and wouldn't use power in case I have to pit throughout the race.
Weightlifting is another good example of being able to capture the effort you put into it and it is based on your workout and HR.

Sarah Larson: yes, agree 💯 heart rate OTS is so important as is developing the technology to quantify the benefits of weight lifting. We are working on this technology! In the case of weight lifting hr is not the answer - its more about using the amount of weight lifted multiplied b the # or reps.
For swimming hr is good but I think we'll run into the problem where not everyone is keen on wearing a heart rate monitor. Pace x laps may be the way to go here!

yes! This is what we call hrOTS https://feedback.fascatcoaching.com/feature-requests/p/hrots
